Game three opened up with the Penguins scoring early, 2:46 into the game, thanks to Jake Guentzel! That didn’t shake the Predators at all, feeding off the Nashville fans and fierce energy the Predators responded by tightening their defense applying much pressure to the Penguins.
Heading into the second period, 5:51 minutes in during a power play, defenseman, Roman Josi tied up the game! Following Josi’s lead, Frederick Gaudreau scored 42 seconds later. At the is point the Predators kept the Penguins on their toes, having score three more time and not letting up another point to Pittsburg. Nashville closed out the night with a 5-1 victory taking them into an interesting game four in Nashville. Will the Mayhem continue and the rallying of the Predator fans guide them into a tied series Monday night? We’ll see!
