Okay so tonight is a crucial game four due to the statistics behind it!
If the cavaliers take game four chances are high that they will take the series, but if the Warriors make a comeback tonight, they could still have a fighting chance, although most bets are already against them. As you’ll learn about me I am mostly an underdog cheerleader 🙂 Underdogs are the reason behind good games and I love a good game.
Now hopefully by game four we’ll see some game planning, in other words the Warriors making some changes. By now we already know the Cavs have game planned to shut down Stephen Curry, which has worked for the most part aside from those 17 points in the forth quarter of game 3! Curry threw down. The Cavs have used Dellavedova as their point man for shutting down Curry, especially because he is scrappy, but newly useful and beneficial to the Cavs, you need that player that will put their body on the line. If the Warriors are as sick of this shut down as their fans sure are, then tonight we will hopefully see Curry’s teammates helping draw the Cavs defense away from him by having other players like Thompson, Green, Iguodola, and even Lee be consistent and STEP UP, which can also open Curry up once more putting more pressure on the Cavs to do more than key on Curry. I would definitely like to see the number one offense we were all seeing before the finals.
For the Cavs, Props to Mozgov, definitely a player to look out for climbing the charts as a leading center in a few years, as well as, another good contributor to the Cavs in addition to Tristian Thompson, and clearly Matt Dellavedova. The Warriors need to find a way stop the Cavs or slow them down . The sad truth as of now is there has been no stopping LeBron James, he has gone off every game of the finals so far with 139 points total, breaking some playoff records, such as having the most points within in three games of the NBA Finals! So if they can’t defend him the Warriors have to find a way to contain James and get more points on the board. Next, the Warriors have to get back on track with what made them the number one offense to begin with, playing smart and rapidly.
Overall the Cavaliers look like they want it more and the Warriors look well…asleep until the end of the game at least.
Ready to see both teams put it all on the court, we’ll see tonight!! Predicting another close game and maybe even another OT! What do ya’ll think?!
